How important is field coordination? The answer is pretty darn important. We completed the installation of these halo-lit letters at the new Cambria hotel in South Boston last week and the results speak for themselves. Look carefully at the photograph and note the precise alignment of the letters to the joints in the ceramic / porcelain wall panels. The mounting holes in this very delicate building skin were shop drilled off site by the panel fabricator several months before the letters were fabricated, solid blocking was put in place by the general contractor, power feeds were pulled by the electrical subcontractor, and the letters themselves were installed by Whitney Veigas. Careful attention to the details always determines the quality of the outcome.
