Architect Gorman Richardson Architects, Hopkinton, Massachusetts

Barry Controls, a leading international supplier of industrial shock dampening systems, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the French multinational corporation, Hutchinson Worldwide. When Barry relocated their New England manufacturing facility from Boston to rural Hopkinton, Massachusetts, they hired Whitney Veigas to implement a sign program for their new facility. Hutchinson Worldwide's corporate standards for signs defined guidelines for the use of color, typestyle, and graphic layout. These standards were carefully adapted by Whitney Veigas for use on this project in the United States.

Whitney Veigas utilized its C-Panel system for free standing identification, directional, and traffic regulatory signs. The primary directional sign consists of individual panels, which can be removed for revisions.
