Whitney Veigas had less than three months to design, fabricate and install a program of interior and exterior signs for a new faculty office building for the Charlton College of Business at UMASS Dartmouth. Long, slender plaques were mounted on wide frosted glass panels adjacent to each office door. The medium grey background color, similar to the lead-coated copper cladding on the building facades, was compatible with varied interior wall colors.

The owner's requirement for changes in faculty listings on individual office signs and building directories was met with changeable insert plaques. Laser printed paper inserts are easily produced by the college's staff with the use of graphic formatting templates.
