Scope Design
Working closely with Sasaki, the project architect, Whitney Veigas developed a comprehensive environmental graphics, signage, and wayfinding program for the new Princeton Racquet Center, a state-of-the-art racquet sports facility on Princeton’s campus.
Utilizing design motifs such as opacity & transparency, layering & depth, and scale, combined with the school’s distinct voice, brand identity, and color palette, we created a visual landscape that honors the University’s legacy and channels the energy of its athletic culture. Wayfinding, room identification, and donor recognition were thoughtfully integrated within Princeton’s established visual standards. Large-scale specialty graphics and supergraphics complement the architecture, enriching the overall experience throughout the facility.
The Racquet Center has received national recognition, including being named the USTA’s 2024 Featured Facility of the Year, the organization’s highest honor for excellence in tennis facility design and construction.
